Step-by-step for migrating your season pass and wallet in the RailOne app

Here’s a clear, step-by-step walkthrough for Android & iPhone users to:

  1. See your UTS wallet balance in RailOne
  2. Use RailOne for daily tickets & season passes (monthly/quarterly)
  3. Fix common problems (balance/pass not showing)

This is exactly how most daily commuters are doing it now under Indian Railways.

✅ PART A: UTS Wallet Balance → RailOne (Automatic Sync)

👉 Good news first: There is NO manual transfer button. Your balance syncs automatically.

Step-by-step

  1. Install RailOne app
    • From Play Store (Android) / App Store (iPhone)
  2. Open RailOne → Tap “Login”
    • Use the same mobile number you used in the UTS app
    • Verify with OTP
  3. After login
    • Go to ☰ Menu → Wallet / Payments
    • You should see your UTS R-Wallet balance

✅ That balance can now be used for:

  • Unreserved tickets
  • Platform tickets
  • Season pass purchase / renewal

⏱️ Sync usually happens instantly, sometimes within a few minutes.

🎫 PART B: Using RailOne for Daily Travel (UTS Replacement)

Book a Daily Unreserved Ticket

  1. Open RailOne
  2. Tap “Unreserved Ticket”
  3. Select:
    • From Station
    • To Station
    • Class (2nd / First)
  4. Choose payment → R-Wallet / UPI
  5. Ticket appears under My Bookings

⚠️ Same rules apply as UTS:

  • Must be outside station geofence (usually 500 m)

🪪 PART C: Season Pass (Monthly / Quarterly) in RailOne

🔹 If you ALREADY had an active pass in UTS

  • Open RailOne
  • Go to My Bookings / My Passes
  • Your active season pass should appear automatically

📌 No need to re-apply or re-pay.

🔹 To BUY or RENEW a season pass (Now only via RailOne)

  1. Open RailOne
  2. Tap Season Ticket / Pass
  3. Select:
    • Route (Source–Destination)
    • Class
    • Duration (Monthly / Quarterly)
  4. Upload documents (if first time):
    • Photo
    • ID proof
  5. Pay using UTS wallet / UPI
  6. Pass becomes visible in My Passes

✅ This pass works exactly like the old UTS season pass.

🛠️ PART D: If Wallet Balance or Pass Is NOT Showing

Try these in order 👇

Fix 1: Same login check (MOST IMPORTANT)

  • Mobile number must match UTS account
  • Don’t create a new RailOne account with a different number

Fix 2: Refresh & relogin

  • Logout → Close app → Open → Login again

Fix 3: Update app

  • Make sure RailOne is on latest version

Fix 4: Wait 24 hours

  • Some users see wallet/pass sync after a short delay

Fix 5: Railway support

  • Use Help / Support inside RailOne
  • Or visit nearest PRS/UTS counter with ID

💡 Do NOT panic or empty your wallet—balances are preserved.

🧠 Practical Commuter Tips

  • Screenshot your wallet balance & pass after login (just for peace of mind)
  • Keep RailOne ticket QR ready during TTE checks
  • For daily travel → Season pass is still cheapest
  • Digital payments sometimes give small cashback/discounts
